Vintage Rustic Wedding at Peppertree Ranch

Talk about a Pinterest wedding come to life!  It was everything that I would have imagined Jacob + Katie would have and so much more.  Their wedding style absolutely connects with who they are as a couple.  So romantic and vintage (like from another era).  Jacob and Katie hosted their beautiful wedding in San Luis Obispo CA at Pepper Tree Ranch. It wasn’t hard to see that they paid attention to every single detail.  Nothing slipped past their fingers and the coordinators from Le Festin Events helped pull it all together.

The bride and the ladies prepared for the big day inside the on site cabin that has been designed as a bridal suite.  Inside there are several great details and features including a handcrafted large iron rod mirror (beautiful details that the owner carries throughout the venue since he is a welder).  Katie and her mother shared a very intimate moment as she got into her wedding gown.  Her mom put a set of pearls on her that were a gift from her father when they first started dating several years back.  Then Katie passed down to her mother, the same handkerchief that her mother gave her grandmother at her wedding day.

Katie requested a first look session with her father in front of the barn located on the property.  This was a very touching moment for Katie and her father.  Her father was clearly holding back the tears as Katie gifted him personalized cufflinks with a portrait of them when Katie was younger.  Father of the bride almost lost it when he realized that Katie was wearing the pearl necklace that he gave his wife (Katie’s mother).

With a gorgeous view of the mountains, horses, and a small pond, Katie and Jacob exchanged the most beautiful and heartfelt vows.  Katie is an avid Disney fan and pretty much quoted her way through every Disney movie invented to create a fairy tale type of vow leaving everyone with tears and joy.

My favorite part of the day had to be sunset photos (well… that may be a little biased).  We were transported by the venue manager Hannah to the back of the venue.  In the back was a small lake and we had closer access to the horses.  It was absolutely perfect and I was delighted that they cared as much about sunset photos as I did!

Jacob and Katie’s vintage ranch wedding was absolute perfection.  There was an easiness about it with extreme attention to detail.  There was romance in the air and joy never ending.  It was such a delight to be present in this moment with them.  I will forever remember this day.
