We tapped into some Marilyn Manroe beach vibes with Kate. I was inspired by a few images of Marilyn-they were just confident, bold, sassy, yet classy. There was something just “womanly” about the photos I ran across that didn’t feel too in your face sexy. It was beautiful.
We didn’t get a chance to photograph Reese and Kate’s engagement session because Reese works out of state, so what we did was create these images to just represent this moment in Kate’s life. This vibrant, exciting, full of life and anticipation moment.
We hit up Shell Beach in California on a quiet and gloomy day and the lack of sunshine didn’t matter because Kate carried enough of it. Here’s a little tribute to all women in this stage of your life! Enjoy it, cherish it, live it, remember it! Feel alive and tap into your inner Marilyn Manroe!
