There’s a shift happening in my business right now.
It’s the kind of shift I prayed for.
The kind of shift I dreamed of.
The kind of shift I worked for—relentlessly.
But as it arrives, I’m realizing something uncomfortable:
In order to grow, I have to let go.
And let me be honest—that’s really, really hard.
The Reality Behind Growth
When you start a business, especially from scratch, control isn’t just a preference—it’s survival.
You have to know every detail. You have to navigate every turn. You have to carry it all.
I’ve been that person.
The one who knew every file name, every system, every post, every client nuance.
I built Charizma Co from the ground up with grit, creativity, and yes—control.
But now… I feel it.
The growth.
The stretch.
The invitation to trust others the way I’ve always trusted myself.
And it’s beautiful, but it’s also messy.

Delegation Isn’t Just a Strategy—It’s a Mindset Shift
The truth is, delegation isn’t just a tactical move.
It’s emotional. It’s mental.
It’s deeply tied to identity and safety.
I’m learning that delegation isn’t about giving people tasks—it’s about giving them trust.
Trust that they’ll carry the vision.
Trust that they’ll solve problems.
Trust that they care about the mission as much as I do.
Some days, I default back to doing it myself.
Because it’s faster.
Because it’s safer.
Because it’s what I know.
But I know that’s not sustainable.
And more importantly—it’s not leadership.
I Have a Hungry, Capable Team—and They’re Ready
One of the biggest blessings in this season is the team around me.
They’re smart, they’re hungry, and they’re eager to help.
And I want to give them space to grow, lead, and thrive.
But before I do that for them, I have to do it for me.
I have to believe that letting go won’t lead to chaos—it will lead to clarity.
That doesn’t mean I won’t still lead. It just means I’ll lead with trust instead of tightness.
To My Fellow Founders: If You’re Struggling to Let Go, You’re Not Alone
If you’re in the middle of this too—trusting, delegating, releasing control—I see you.
Here’s what I’m learning:
- Your business can’t grow beyond your capacity if you’re the only one holding it.
- Delegation is a sign of strength, not weakness.
- Trust is built in action, not perfection.
- Letting go doesn’t mean you’re stepping back—it means you’re stepping up.
You started your business with passion.
Let it grow with purpose.
And let people help you carry it.

Final Thought
I’m still in it.
Still learning. Still fumbling.
Still trying to remember that my way isn’t the only way.
But every time I delegate, every time I trust, every time I release a little more—I feel my company breathing deeper. Expanding.
This is the stretch.
This is the growth.
This is what we asked for.
Let’s not fight it—let’s flow with it.
