Kat and Jess work together with a company in Montreal, Canada. Kat is a social media and marketing strategist for the company and Jessica is a photographer. Aside from this line of work, Jessica is also a wedding photographer and Kat loves the world of instagram and social media influence.
It was very exciting to receive a contact from Jessica sharing how they were both going to take a trip to California together and that they were interested in setting up a photo shoot while they were touring Los Angeles, CA.
We brainstormed the perfect session and I pitched a few ideas/locations based on what they should experience while in the area. Out of the locations, they chose to see: The Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills CA [which we ended up getting kicked out of-but we made due with the time we had there], The Hollywood Sign in Hollywood, CA, and The Venice Canals in Venice Beach CA. Somewhere in between Beverly Hills and The Hollywood Sign, I made a pit stop on a street that was incredibly charming and had a door and stairs with beautiful colors and textures that just called my name!
I brought along with me a photographer friend Andrea with A’Marie Photography and Joey with In23Media to film a vlog on this shoot.
