Emails that remind me what I’ve worked so hard for

I made a decision a few years ago to be ok with not being for everyone in hopes to be true to the kind of artist I wanted to become. I knew that I would have to be willing to take the risk of many more no’s for the right yes’. It was scary.

So when I get messages like this it makes me do the happy dance and time and time again I thank God for always guiding me on my business journey.

If you think that it’s going to be easy to get where you want to be…you’re wrong. It won’t be. There’s something especially true of creative business journey’s…they’re tough! Everyone assumes you’re on this happy go lucky journey of living your best life doing what you love…if only it was that easy! It’s not. So, for those who are on this journey of self discovery in your creative business, keep staying curious and keep fighting for what you know you can become. It will pay off. You can’t take a short cut to becoming an artist. No one can ever skip the process or journey it takes-in fact, it’s the journey that actually makes you the artist, not the destination!
