I’ve heard it said before “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the sun. A time to plant and a time to pull out what was planted. A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together.” (Ecc 3).

Such was so for me as I found myself ending 2015 feeling like I was tearing down 8+ years of my business career. I felt an urgency to slow down after I ended a very busy and heartbreaking year. Business was blooming but my heart was left broken after a tough year (personally speaking). I had declared 2016 a year of greater depths. A year of greater victories. A year to reflect on the rich things in life. I would focus more on my family and relationships. I would focus more on the intricate details of business. I would discover who I was all over again and where I wanted to be. The end of my year brought several opportunities …many doors were being opened, and I just had to make the decision to close them all. To focus on what I felt the Lord was really impressing on my heart.

There were specific things I had written down going into this year that I’d hoped to receive and grow in. I wanted to grow in knowledge in my business. I wanted to run my business with greater purpose and value and I wanted to gain the mindset of an entrepreneur. Slowing down allowed me to gain fresh perspective. I had the time to express creatively again. It also allowed me the time to build rich relationships and be a more present wife and mother. I was spending my evenings relaxed and dreaming of what I’d like my future business to look like. Little did I know that freeing up my time would set me up for an opportunity of a lifetime. An opportunity that marks one of the greatest turning points in my business career thus far.
THE PATH TO PROFITABILITY with Jasmine Star. I knew instantly that this was a summit I HAD TO ATTEND. Have you ever experienced a moment in your life, where you know that you’re in the right place at the right time? This was that moment for me. I don’t know if I would’ve received what I did had I been there two years ago, or even at the beginning of 2015. I was there, and I was ready and it was the right time.
It is true….there is a time for everything under the sun. And it is my time to work, my time to sow, my time to plan and prep. It is my time to work hard and love people along the way. It is time to focus on the things that matter and it is time to work hard and labor. I am confident, that by God’s grace, I will get to see the rewards of this harvest.

A huge thank you to Jasmine Star for lighting a fire and passing the torch to entrepreneurs like myself. I can not wait to grow passionately and give my clients the best experience they could ever receive.

(Above: After so much reflecting, a whole lot of crying, I took this photo to remind myself to LOL -LIVE OUT LOUD, LAUGH OUT LOUD, AND LOVE OUT LOUD. -Big Daddy Antiques also has EVERYTHING I want in my life! I will return.)

(Above: A moment I captured of Jasmine Star as she cried grateful tears, saying thank you to all of her team-but it was her “thank you” moment to her husband JD that brought her to tears. I can absolutely relate and I captured this moment because I always want to remember to love my husband every single step of the way and to always be grateful that He has supported me and stood by me through this journey. I hope to, just like Jasmine, live a life of gratitude. Always knowing where I started and embracing/celebrating every small or large milestone along the way!)

(Above: This photo was taken by Tami Paige Photography. I just had to share this one. It is the entire group of the LA PTP. I look around and connect with every single face. We learned so much about each other as Jasmine and her team created a very personal environment. Now we continue to support one another. I look around and see friends and incredibly gifted and talented creative entrepreneurs.)
Side Note: I was placed on the “HOT SEAT!” It was quite the emotional experience to say the least. From this experience I received an entire year of web hosting, tech support, and access to be as creative as I wanted with my website/blog. Thank you to Showit.co for the amazing gift! Having a full functioning and STYLED website was on my list of the biggest goals of 2016, and because of you guys….I’ve arrived. THANK YOU!
WELCOME TO MY BLOG! Let’s stay together…..
