Arroyo Grande Engagement and Central Coast Sand Dunes

I’m currently quarantined, which means I missed out on being able to photograph 3 of my couples this week for their engagement session. We’ve rescheduled and all is fine. Meanwhile, this collection of Justin + Selinna is making my heart pump with excitement for the day that I get to get out there and shoot again. It will be glorious.

Justin and Selinna are such a vibrant couple. Justin being more relaxed with a great sense of humor and Selinna being a little sassy and so much fun. I love how their characteristics mesh so well. On this day we hit the beautiful little quaint town of Arroyo Grande, California. This part of the session just felt like a beautiful date in a town with very happy people with so much charm-just like my couple.

Following this part of the session, we grabbed some mexican food and just had a really great time together talking wedding day and life in general.

We closed the night by hitting the sand dunes in Pismo Beach CA and it was magical. The sand dunes are such a hit for my engaged couples and although I’ve shot a few times there, it always feels just as magical and I always see different things. I will never get over the reaction my couples have as soon as they enter there, just as Justin and Selinna had. This sort of gasp of amazement that this little piece of paradise is accessible to us. Come on, it’s all the desert vibes with ocean breeze!

I hope you enjoy this collection and that it brings you the kind of sunshine it is bringing me right now! I’m thrilled that Justin and Selinna’s wedding hasn’t been in danger of needing to be rescheduled! Looking forward to August to live a day full of magic with these two amazing people!
