As a business owner, leader, and mom, I’ve learned this: success doesn’t come from winging it—it comes from resetting with intention.
Every Sunday, I carve out a few hours to reset my mind, my schedule, and my priorities. It’s not about packing in more to-dos. It’s about aligning with what matters most—so I can lead well in both business and life.
Here’s what my Sunday Reset looks like, and how you can make it your own.
1. Look at the Month Before You Look at the Week
Before I jump into Monday, I zoom out.
- What deadlines are coming up?
- Are there any events, travel, or client launches I need to anticipate?
- Is there anything this week that, if handled now, will save stress next week?
This monthly overview helps me see the bigger picture, so I can lead from a place of intention—not last-minute panic.

🗓️ 2. Block Your Time Intentionally
This is where the magic happens. I block out each day with purpose:
- Client calls
- Creative or deep-focus work
- Admin or ops reviews
- Team meetings
- Family Appointments, workouts, and quality time with family and friends
If it’s important, it gets a time block.
Because when you tell your time where to go, your energy follows.
🔎 3. Quality Check What’s Going Out
Whether it’s client content, branded visuals, or a podcast episode—I do a final review.
- Is it aligned with the brand message?
- Is the tone intentional?
- Are we showing up with clarity and excellence?
This is my leadership quality control—one last pass to ensure that what we release reflects our standards.
✍️ 4. Write Down 6 Key Priorities
I list out:
- 3 Business Priorities: Could be content production, strategic decisions, or campaign launches
- 3 Personal Priorities: From workouts and doctor appointments to coffee with a friend
This keeps me grounded. Because the best weeks aren’t just productive—they’re aligned.

👥 5. Break Down the Week for the Team
Once I’ve mapped out my week, I shift to the team.
- What needs to be delegated?
- What tasks need clarity?
- Is our execution plan realistic and well-paced?
I refine task lists, give direction, and share what success looks like for the week. Leadership isn’t just about doing—it’s about guiding the people who help make it all happen.

💭 Final Thoughts
This simple reset helps me show up as a better leader, mom, wife, and creative. It doesn’t take long—but it changes everything.
Because when you lead with clarity, alignment follows.
So take your Sunday, sip your coffee, and carve out the time you need. You don’t need to do more. You just need to lead with intention.
