The first time I sat with Caleb + Sarajoy at our consultation at Eureka Burger…they had me in the clouds. Their story was one that was just like a beautiful movie. A movie of genuine love that stands the test of time. In all honesty, they will always be my “Sweet Home Alabama” couple (my favorite movie). Something about their love story reminded me so much of that movie. It was sweet and authentic. I was super honored to be a part of their wedding day. A day that would end up in their beautiful journal of life. There were several sweet moments that I enjoyed about their wedding. Like the closed eye prayer moment they had together right before the ceremony and watching that even in that moment Caleb found a way to make Sarajoy laugh. The vows Caleb recited to Sarajoy had to be some of my favorite as he read documented journal entries of different dates of his life with Sarajoy, including back when he had started having feelings for her. It was amazing. And the connections that they had with all of their guests and wedding party really reflected the type of people Caleb + Sarajoy are….people that are admired and well loved. Love was certainly in the air.
Caleb + Sarajoy visited the Kern County Museum and fell in love with it because it had a natural beauty to it. They were not disappointed at all and felt that Grace, the venue coordinator, did such a wonderful job and helped make things so easy for them. They added so many personal details to their wedding day and did a lot of DIY projects to create what they wanted. A fun factor about their wedding day and something personal was that they incorporated a firebrick pizza oven catering service with fresh salads and fruit, since pizza is a favorite for this couple. They had access to the top of the bell tower for photos (so much fun) and they danced their first dance to Blake Stratton’s 500 Miles. It was certainly a beautiful day to remember! When I asked Sarajoy what was the most important thing about the wedding day, she stated that capturing the special moments throughout the day was the most meaningful to her. She specifically has a favorite moment and that was seeing Caleb’s face as she walked down the aisle. She has a little advice for future brides “Don’t get too caught up in the minor details, remember what the day is all about.” Could not agree more! Congratulations to Mr. + Mrs. Cloud. Every time I watch Sweet Home Alabama, I’ll think of you! xoxoxo -Rubi Z
