I have to talk about this moment. If I could define this collection by one photo it would be this one. I remember seeing this little cave like space on this rock and imagining them this way. It spoke volumes to me. This mom, protective and loving, hugging and embracing her children, yet the rock signifies something greater than even she is…as she’s shielding and protecting her children, God [the Rock] is sheltering them. 
I was incredibly moved by this collection. Seeing Staci with her kids and understanding that she was facing such a hard season in her life-was moving. I knew in the depths of my soul that she would be alright and that she was strong. I felt it. I felt the courage that she had as a mother to brave storms. She’d be fine, but better than that, the Lord would be her strength.
I walked away from this session moved by the idea of LIVING a richer life with my family. I was reminded that everything counts and the way we live each day matters. This was the day that I was inspired to create lasting memories with my own kids [you can read about that here].
Your kids deserve a life outside of the home and outside of the hustle and bustle of “to do’s.” What is the point that we work so hard and not LIVE? Take a moment and reflect, and make a choice to do something that will create richer experiences as a family! With all my heart and soul….Rubi Z
